The March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies.
Second Harvest Food Bank – Santa Clara & San Mateo counties
Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties is the trusted leader dedicated to ending local hunger.
Home Aid of Northern California
Home Aid was created and is supported by the building industry to address and solve the problem of homelessness. The mission is to build and maintain dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives. Former Ponderosa Homes President Dick Baker (deceased) served on the board of directors for Home Aid Northern California.
California Homebuilding Foundation
The California Homebuilding Foundation (CHF) is the research and education center for California’s homebuilding and construction industries. Founded in 1978 through the California Building Industry Association (CBIA), the Foundation serves the industry by providing scholarships, research and educational and professional development programs. Ponderosa Homes Chairman of the Board Kile Morgan, Jr. and former President Richard Baker (deceased) are both inductees into the California Homebuilding Foundation Hall of Fame.
Toys for Tots (Twenty Nine Palms Division)
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that donates toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.
Tri Valley Haven – Livermore, CA
Tri-Valley Haven continues to be a vital community resource serving adults and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault or homelessness.
Animal Rescue Foundation – ARF
ARF saves dogs and cats that have run out of time at public shelters and brings people and animals together to enrich each others lives. ARF strives to create a world where every loving dog and cat has a home, where every lonely person has a companion animal and where children learn to care.
Ponderosa Homes believes in enriching the lives of others and giving back to the community. These efforts are seen by their participation in and support of local schools, colleges and universities, YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, Rotary and Kiwanis clubs and a variety of other organizations.
